“Genesis” marks the grand opening of the new Lovelab Dreamspace, presenting artistic perspectives on creation in its many meanings: the emergence and birth of new life, artistic conception and production – all the way to the mystery of the cosmos’ origin.
The vernissage brings together contributions from:
🌿 Lavanya Honeyseeda – The German-Indian artist invites us to a musical initiation ritual and shows butterfly worlds made of wax. The premiere of her art documentary “My Body is MY Body” offers moving insights into the stories of Sudanese women and the topic of female genital mutilation.
🎸 Embokazomanga – The poet and contemplator from Madagascar plays meditative soul music, carried by his unique, mantra-like melodic guitar. Inspired by Malagasy oral traditions, spirituals, and global influences, his music fuses rhythm, poetry, and deeply emotional storytelling.
🎶 JR Plankton – The visionary curator of one of the world’s finest music collections presents his new sci-fi music album “Kosmische Kuriere”, produced with Tim Ra – a sonic expedition between jazz, classical music, exotica, and cinematic avant-garde.
🖥 Tim Ra – The Berlin-based artist and musician fuses artificial intelligence and digital creation with analog craftsmanship, dedicating his work to experimentation, empowerment, and transcendence.
🌱 Inö – The Colombian artist and musician brings the spirit of the Amazon rainforest and South America’s indigenous cultures to life through his work.
🍽 Livi plays with the scents and flavors of herbs from her garden and citrus fruits, crafting them into teas, pastries, and sweet delights.
Lovelab Dreamspace is a new project space, an open studio, and a venue for exhibitions, workshops, music, and performances – a space for dreams, transformation, connection, and artistic experimentation.
