America is dying
A Practice of Hope and Solidarity
For Americans, waking up from the current political nightmare means coming to terms with being tricked into following a cult. At its core, Trumpism is not just a political movement—it is a force designed to humiliate, divide, and ultimately destroy. In the end, it will consume itself, but not before scarring the United States and much of the world through the horrors it inevitably unleashes.
Repairing the damage of Trumpism requires more than a return to the status quo. It demands the creation of a fundamentally new political, media, and economic ecosystem—one that eliminates the corrupting influence of money in politics, breaks the stranglehold of corporate media, and builds safeguards against disinformation. It means dismantling the neoliberal order that serves only the wealthy and disentangling from the military-industrial complex and its warmongering commentators.
This is nothing short of a revolution—and nothing less than a revolution will suffice to eliminate Trumpism. Only then can we begin to address the real challenges we face as global citizens.
In the face of darkness, we have the power to choose the path of creation over destruction. Pain exposes our vulnerability, and in doing so, expands our capacity for empathy, connection, and transformation. By embracing both light and shadow, we can turn suffering into understanding and struggle into renewal.
