Colectivo Jatibina
Vernissage: July 19th, 2025

Bima Inuma
With Colectivo Jatibina, Shipibo shaman Bima Inuma presents a personal selection of artistic positions from the Amazon region.
This group exhibition invites visitors into a world where nature, art, and community—alongside psychedelic visions, healing and spirituality, plant medicine, and responsibility for the Earth—are inseparably intertwined.
Inuma evokes a way of life in harmony with the patterns and rhythms of nature—guided by mindfulness, respect, and a commitment to global justice and interconnectedness—beyond the colonial-capitalist systems of power and economy that dominate the present day.
Bima Inuma will be present at the exhibition’s opening. In conversation with Tim Ra, he will offer insights into the spiritual and artistic world of the Shipibo people and will perform his shamanic healing chants live afterwards.
The German premiere of Kuruara, People of the River—a documentary film by Canadian filmmaker Stephanie Boyd and visual artist Miguel Araoz—will further open up pathways into the philosophy and lived reality of Amazonian peoples.
Colectivo Jatibina. Curated by Bima Inuma. With Grover Inuma, Renato Agustín Peña, Melvin Estrella, Sanken Ino, Jesús Agustín Inga, Soi Bita, Lavanya Honeyseeda, Tim Ra & Bima Inuma.
