From Skandalon to Institution and Back Again: »DREAM 1|0|2|5|6« is released on August 1 — Tim Ra's Catalogue of Five Dreams from Three Years of Lovelab Dreamspace, from GENESIS to VENUSWALD. A Copy is Currently on Display at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin.

This is more than an archival note. Three years ago, AI art was scandalous: theft, the end of art, machine kitsch – the knee-jerk reactions came quickly. Tim Ra's current exclusion from the Künstlersozialkasse, Germany's social insurance fund for artists because AI is not art is the official echo of these past debates. At the same time, the new catalogue can be viewed in the display case at the largest research library in the German-speaking world until the end of September.

That's exactly why, starting in September, the AI ART ACADEMY will be launched — with three new workshop formats: IMAGE MACHINE, FILM MACHINE, and SOUND MACHINE. They impart the tools, experiences, and tricks from five Dreams and three years of practice: from text to image, from image to film, from prompt to vinyl release.
