On the Alchemy of Empathy<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We live in the age of anger. Night in the Venus Forest invites us to explore alternatives: How do anger and pain transform into connection and creativity? The Lovelab becomes a test laboratory for empathy with ceremonial cacao & prosecco on ice. With music & art by Saskia Baumgart, Lavanya Honeyseeda & Tim Ra and a film by Stefanie M\u00fcller.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humanity has built a global hate machine. Outrage has become a commodity, attention is the currency. The machinery runs on its own: Offense turns into anger, shared anger into outrage, outrage into reach. Those who strike back are rewarded \u2014 and the world shatters into us and them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beneath that lies something deeper: a pain that has never found a place. Instead of being felt, it is passed on. Retribution is the quickest way to get rid of it \u2013 and the surest way to multiply it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Night in the Venus Forest is a moment of pausing. Not a program against hatred. Rather, an evening where pain is given a space without immediately turning into anger, and is allowed to transform: into sound, into images, into encounter, into laughter. Why anti-fascism does not need enemy stereotypes, Tim Ra explains in the Dialogue with Igor Levit<\/a> described.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Venus forest, the god of war finds rest while Venus watches. The satyrs take his weapons and make toys out of them. What loses its seriousness loses its power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To kick things off, [he\/she\/it] fulfills the Venuswald<\/strong> with scents and sounds of love. In addition, sparkling wine on ice and ceremonial cacao are served. The raised glass becomes the counterpart to the raised weapon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stefanie M\u00fcller's documentary about the World Peace Conference<\/strong> shows peace as what it can be: lived encounter \u2013 with other people and with one's own shadows. The space opened up in the process is subsequently filled with the cosmic sounds of Sasperella the Mermaid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the title \u201eGuide to Making Peace\u201c<\/strong> is Tim Ra speaking with Saskia Baumgart<\/strong>, co-initiator of the 2024 World Peace Conference, and Lavanya Honeyseeda<\/strong> as an extraterrestrial peace ambassador Lakhura<\/strong> on the art of encounter, on utopias, and on how peace can be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, Tim Ra's psychedelic Venuswald<\/em>-Collagen and Lavanya Honeyseedas mystical Dream<\/em>-Assemblages \u2013 visual worlds that open up spaces of consciousness and give form to the dream of peace. Both tell of a world that consists not of opponents, but of relationships. And of a wilderness within us that remembers our elemental connectedness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lavanya Honeyseeda and Tim Ra continue these thoughts musically: As\u00a0Voice messages from space<\/strong> we encounter the peace messages of the extraterrestrial ambassador Lakhura, accompanied by Ras cosmic reggae<\/a>. A psychedelic dialogue between Earth, cosmos and dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, it returns Sasperella the Mermaid<\/strong> back. With hymnal sounds, she leads the evening \u201eToward Perpetual Peace\u201c<\/strong> \u2013 to where it began: in the sound of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
